YOGA ONLINE
$7 Saturday’s: Led Ashtanga Online
In 2026, we are grounding our practice in commitment. Meet me online every second Saturday of the month for a led Ashtanga class where we drop into the stillness of the breath and the strength of the body.
Book Club for the Soul: Into the Mahabharata
We often jump straight into the Bhagavad Gita, but we forget that the Gita is actually the climax of a massive, sweeping epic: The Mahabharata. Before the famous dialogue of the Bhagavad Gita began, a massive family drama was unfolding. The Mahabharata is a sweeping tale of kings and queens, ancient rivalries, and the complex moral crossroads that define the human experience. We will explore the "backstory" of the great war, meeting the characters and understanding the conflict that set the stage for the battlefield.
Join me online for a winter afternoon dedicated entirely to the art of the story. Grab your favorite blanket, a hot drink, and settle into your most comfortable spot at home. This is 2.5 hours of pure immersion—a chance to step out of the daily rush and into one of the world’s most captivating epics.
Beyond Half Primary: Unlocking the full Ashtanga Primary Series
Why do we stop at Navasana? The second half of the Ashtanga Primary Series contains some of the most transformative—and misunderstood—postures in the method. Because most studio offerings focus on 'Half Primary,' many practitioners never get the chance to break down and explore the technical nuances required for the later postures. This workshop is a deep dive into those intricacies. We’ll break down the mechanics of the asanas that often keep us stuck over time, making them accessible, logical, and—most importantly—part of your practice. Whether you’ve never tried them or have been working on them for a while, this is your chance to expand your horizons beyond the standard half-primary class.
Saturday Ashtanga Led Class
Join me online for a free Ashtanga class where we will drop into the body and the breath through this moving meditation. Ashtanga Vinyasa is adaptable for anyone—we always fit the practice to the practitioner! We will move through the Ashtanga Half Primary Series following the traditional count, incorporate pranayama (breathwork), and explore a few postures from the second half if time allows. This class is best suited for those already practicing Ashtanga or those familiar with the sequence and eager to continue to learn the sequence and try new variations. Please ensure you have a steady internet connection, your mat, any necessary props (or DIY props!), and a spot where I can see your practice from a good angle. See you online!
