Prithvi Yoga & Connections
Our world often pulls us in a million different directions, leaving us feeling disconnected from our bodies, our purpose, and the natural world. At Prithvi Yoga & Connections, we offer a path back to ourselves.
The word Prithvi is Sanskrit for "Earth." It's the grounding force that reminds us of our own strength and stability. It's the feeling of your feet on the sand, the peace of a mindful yoga practice, and the quiet confidence that comes from being truly present.
But just as we are grounded in the earth, we are also drawn to something greater and unknown. Facing this on our own can be daunting. Weβve found its best to connect outward to explore inward.
This is where the Connections come in. Our gatherings, whether online or abroad, are intentionally designed to be small, intimate gatherings. Here, you'll connect with fellow seekers who share your passion for adventure and introspection. Most importantly, you will connect with your own inner strength and wisdom, offering a renewed sense of purpose and peace.
About Isabel
Isabel, a lifelong student, began her yoga journey at 15, finding solace and guidance in the practice during lifeβs ups and downs. Over 10 years later, feeling burnt out and unfulfilled during her public health career, she decided to pursue her true passionsβyoga and divingβand headed to Colombia three days later, yoga mat in tow. She spent the next few years as a diving instructor on a small island off the Colombian Caribbean coast.
Over the years, Isabel has continued along her yoga journey by taking yoga intensives, courses on yoga philosophy, completing her 200-hour YTT in Ashtanga & Vinyasa yoga in Spain in 2022, followed by her 300-hour YTT Ashtanga Training through Miami Life Center. She has also traveled to Mysore, India, to study at Sharath Yoga Center (SYC), deepening her Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. Upon returning to the U.S., she apprenticed under her SYC Authorized L2 teacher, honing her teaching style to accommodate practitioners of all levels while honoring the Ashtanga traditions and practices. Since her trainings, Isabel has co-led four 200HR Yoga teacher Trainings, organized and led international yoga retreats, facilitated philosophy workshops, & more. Always, with the sincere intention to continue along her own journey of exploration and introspection while guiding others through the same.
Isabel loves being outdoors, connected to nature, and prefers to practice outside whenever possible. In addition to on her mat, you can often find her underwater (scuba or freediving), at the beach, reading in a hammock, going on sunrise hikes, or something of the sort.
